Types of Service

We offer both interim and full services for vehicles. As a general rule, you should have a full service every 12 months or after every 12,000 miles, while an interim service should occur every 6 months, or after every 6,000 miles.

Interim Service

An interim service is a less comprehensive process, and will check factors such as the consition of the engine – including plugs and filters – as well as batteries, tyres, lights, brake fluid, screen wash and anti-freeze coolant.

Interim Service

In total, the following will be checked:
  • Bodywork, windscreen wipers and mirrors for corrosion or damage
  • Any warning lights, including ABS
  • Interior and exterior lights
  • Fuel cap, brake pipes and hoses
  • Timing belt interval
  • Seatbelts
  • Handrake, brake pads, drums and discs
  • Gearbox oil and axel oil topped up and engine oil/oil filter replaced
  • Steering and suspension, including power steering
  • Exhaust system and emissions
  • Tyres, Clutch, and Battery
  • Air conditioning if applicable, and air filter
  • Any leaks from calipers or cylinders
  • Auxilary or fan belts

Full Service

A full service covers everything in an interim, but also includes:

  • Checks of door hinges and locks
  • Coolant system, pipes and radiator checked for leaks, engine cooling fan checked
  • Replacing air filters
  • Engine and gearbox checked for wear
  • Wheel bearings and tyres checked
  • Front and rear brakes checked
  • Operation of throttle checked
  • Starter motor
